We strive to ensure your authentic pickles, spices, and rottis are delivered to you in the best condition and in a timely manner. This policy outlines our shipping procedures and timelines.
1. Order Processing
- Processing Time: All orders are processed within 1-2 business days (Monday to Saturday, excluding public holidays) after receiving your order confirmation email. You will receive another notification when your order has been shipped.
- High Volume: During high-volume periods, festivals, or unforeseen circumstances, processing may take slightly longer. We will communicate any significant delays.
2. Shipping Rates & Destinations
- Shipping Destinations: We currently ship to all serviceable pin codes across India. At this time, we do not ship to international destinations.
- Shipping Costs: Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout. We may offer flat-rate shipping or weight-based shipping depending on the products and your location.
- Free Shipping: We offer free shipping on all orders above a value of ₹[PLEASE INSERT AMOUNT] (e.g., ₹599, ₹799, etc.). This will be automatically applied at checkout if your order qualifies.
3. Estimated Delivery Timelines
Once your order is processed and shipped, the delivery timeline depends on your location. These are estimates and not guarantees, as delivery is handled by our third-party courier partners.
- Karnataka (Local/Regional): 2-4 business days
- South India (Metro Cities): 3-5 business days
- North & West India (Metros): 4-6 business days
- Rest of India (Tier II, Tier III): 5-8 business days
- North East & J&K: 7-10 business days
Please note that delivery times can be affected by shipping partner delays, weather conditions, or local restrictions in your area.
4. How to Track Your Order
Once your order has shipped, you will receive an email notification from us which will include a tracking number and a link to the courier’s website. You can use this to check your order’s status.
Please allow 24-48 hours for the tracking information to become active on the courier’s portal.
5. Damaged Goods or Incorrect Address
- Damaged Goods: We take utmost care in packing our food products. In the unlikely event that your order arrives in a damaged condition (e.g., broken jar, torn packet), please do the following:

- Incorrect Address: The customer is responsible for providing the complete and correct shipping address. Umadi Foods will not be responsible for delays or returns caused by an incorrect or incomplete address provided by the customer. Any reshipment costs in such cases will be borne by the customer.
